It’s close to Halloween, and I wish I was doing more horrific gaming rather than just watching Walking Dead on TV, but that’s the way things are going in this very busy year.
Challengers is getting a lot of love from me these days. I’ve been putting a lot of time into it and it is shaping up nicely. I’m pretty much done with the largest (and easiest) part of formatting the contributed characters according to a single template. Now I have to add lots of additional text to the characters to make them more useful to players. I also have six new characters to design to add to the roster’s numbers. I have started them, but they are mostly in the conceptual stage at the moment. After this, I need to write the introductory and explanatory text for the book (which, frankly, is very boring to write, so I suspect I will be keeping it short) and I want to add a short chapter on Thugs as well, with lots of examples.
At this point, I’m going to (very, very roughly) guesstimate the final page count to be close to 200 pages. Keep in mind that each character takes several pages to detail properly.
Dan is keeping busy with the artwork. There are 39 characters in the book. At the moment, I think 15 of them are colored, and another 8 are sketched out.
So, all in all, things are moving along.

Hey, if you´d like me to work up additional player-friendly stuff for my own characters, drop me a line and I´ll see what I can do to save you some trouble.
I will definitely take you up on that. I think I found your discussion of the game on some other forum or blog recently. Do you have some sort of setting with big-breasted females?
